I love how this came out. I am not sure what the wood is. I know that it is some kind of an exotic. The contrast between the wood and the silver are fantastic. It will be in the Arts Worcester "Fire and Ice" exhibition. Opening is October 16th.
Here is a great picture of me working from yesterday that Steve took of me. The piece that I was working will be completed on Thursday. As I was cleaning up for the day chaos happened. I was putting a hammer away in my hammer cabinet when it fell off the wall. Not to worry I am ok a little sore but ok. It was crazy.
Here is this great necklace from my Pebbles and puddles collection. I love this necklace. I would wear this everyday myself. It is all sterling silver minus the rubber cord. I love how the oxidization brings out this piece. I finished this piece on Thursday. It is already on etsy.
This necklace is titled dreams of citrine. It is made of two "pillows" and a very large citrine. It is a beautiful necklace. It measures around 16 inches. It sits on the neck perfectly. It is a little bit smaller then a statement piece, but large enough to stand out and be seen from across the room.
Yesterday Steve helped (well he did most of the work) put in this great new bench for me. Thank you Dad for getting it. And Thank you Steve for all the work you did in the heat. This bench has given me some needed storage and space. Thank you.
