Spring is almost here
With the sun coming in the windows and lighting up my bench and the draw of these amazing chairs you would think that spring is here. But it had been cold all week, very cold. Steve has fixed and oiled these beautiful chairs that sit in front our studio. They beckons me to sit in them. I love to sit here in the sun when I and taking a break or trying to figure out a piece in my head. They are the most inviting and the most comfortable chairs. Paradise City Arts Festival
Over the weekend we went to Paradise City Arts Festival. It was great to see so many amazing craftspeople. Above is a photo of Linda Kaye-Moses and Evan Soldinger. I got to know Linda via email about year when we moved back to Massachusetts and this was our first time meeting in person it was great to finally meet you Linda. The work at their booth was amazing and I have hopes of one day having money to buy of their pieces. I hope that everyone had a successful show.

Working using the Flex Shaft
Here I am working with the flexshaft. I love this tool I use it all the time. Next to my hammers it is my favorite. I do not know how I worked before I had one, and I did. In my opition any craftsperson should have one jeweler or not.

Recycled Necklace with Amber
This is a necklace that was created using my scrap silver. I think that it turned out amazing. The stone is amber which I think looks great with this piece, also the orange of the amber reminds me of spring. I love the textures of this necklace. And the unexpected results, you never know how it will turn out.

Spectacular new necklace
This necklace is spectacular! It sits beautifully on the neck. The stone is a mystery. I have had it since I was little. I have always collected rock and stones for as long as I can remember. It hangs on a 16 inch snake chain. If you are interested please email or leave a comment.

Inside my drawers
These are my supply drawers. I love to go in them and thinking. They are organized chaos. This brings me joy and Quinn loves to play and look at all the stone, pearls and beads. He gets excited when I say that he can look in them. He asks all sorts of questions, it is so fun.
