Sprout #7

This pendent was finished yesterday. And what a great day yesterday was. It was sunny and starting to show signs of being warm, things are starting to sprout. I love spring!! I was listening to a great variety of music, including disco. Now I know most of you are cringing when I said disco, but what other music can make you want to dance like that?
Now about the piece. It is sterling silver, the bottom piece is a hollow form with "sprouts", I gave it a high mirror polish. You can see me in the refection. The top is a mystery stone, I think that it might be some kind of agate. It is bezel set with sterling silver. And the stone is one of the many that my late grandfather had given me. It is a spectacular piece and I was thrilled when it was finished. It is a statement piece, it will get you noticed. I love those pieces.

New Circle Ring

This is a new circle ring that I have created. It is sterling silver and hollow form construction. It is has this great pillow like look to it. And in the center is a ball of silver where the center has been oxidized. I love this piece. At the moment it has a matte finish but I am thinking that a high polish will suite it better. This will lend itself really well to a new series. I am very excited about the pieces that turning around in my head.

Winters End

I love the end of winter. The promise of spring, and flowers starting to sprout. It is a wonderfully time. Well that is minus the mounds of snow yet to melt with the chunks of dirt suck to them. That is what this piece reminds of the dirty snow at the end of winter.
This piece is a pendant made our of recycled sterling silver and a white durzy. I love how this came out. I wish that we had a better camera to take better detail shots. Hopefully soon. I hope that everyone is enjoying winters end.

I think...

I have been staring at this recycled piece of sterling silver for a long time now. I like it and have not been able to see what it should be. But I think that I have it. I have it laid out with citrine, labadorite, black tourmaline and black onyx. There is also a textured hollow form. They will all be hanging from the piece. I think this is it, but we will see what I think of it tomorrow. So far I am loving it, and I love it the more that I look at it.
